Reminiscing 2012 – moments that defined the year

How was 2012 for you?

If there is one word that sums up 2012 for me, it would have to be “change”. For one, I’ve changed my job after being at the last one for a good 6 years. One of my 2012 New Year’s Resolution was to lead a healthier lifestyle and I did that by exercising regularly and even started to cook for the family. That’s major ticks in my checklist 🙂

I completed my first run with the family at the Jurong Lake Run where I was one of the ambassadors representing moms who makes time for exercise. On that note, I was also an ambassador for Lifebuoy, representing moms who play the all important role of being our family’s protector of good health and wellness. This also marked one of my major milestones as a mom blogger.

Having to juggle with family and a career while blogging in between has reminded me that I’m still an individual with my own passion and dreams. So I got back to baking with my new oven… but still not as often as I hoped. And thanks to the blogging moms from SMB, they gave me plenty of opportunity to take part in regular linky parties and even did got down to doing some craft like this farm animal finger puppets.

In addition, I also started my Monday linky parties, Motivational Mondays, where some of my favorite posts included making time for date nights (something which all moms can identify with) and one where I share about being an inspiration for healthy living.

As a family, we managed to make time for holiday and took our first cruise. Alexis and I went to Bangkok for the second year in a row and also took an unexpected holiday to London when he was sent there for work. The 8 days together was rejuvenating as we took in the sights of the city of London together.

I’m truly thankful for new friendships at the work place and also on cyberspace with fellow mom bloggers, FB and Twitter friends and also new readers on A Juggling Mom. I’m thankful to be able to do the things I enjoy and do it with pride. For the New Year, I’m looking forward to it with great expectations of even better things to come. Boy, the items on my New Year’s resolution list will be long but good 🙂

May the year ahead be fruitful, bountiful and plentiful for you!
