As a working mum, there are some chores that I wished could be outsourced. Ironing and cleaning the house ranks high on my list and the other would be grocery shopping. I recently checked out RedMart’s service and was surprised at how easy and convenient shopping for my groceries can be.
RedMart carries a huge selection of household essentials where they have something for everyone. From milk powder and diapers for babies, to cleaning products and dried and canned food for the family and even beer and international wines for the hubby. So unless it’s fresh produce, RedMart is very likely to have it.
To start shopping on RedMart, sign up for your free account which only takes a minute. Navigating around their site was a breeze as the items are clearly catagorised, allowing you to zoom in exactly on the items that you are shopping for. I liked the neat display of items on the website and how prices and more importantly savings are clearly displayed on each item allowing me to be a discerning shopper.
Here’s a Juggling Mom time saving tip: Just like shopping at the supermarket, shop with a shopping list. This way, you don’t wander into sections you don’t need like the snacks section and save yourself money and time.
To select the items you want, simply click on ‘Add to Cart’ and these will be added into your cart. I love this, because this way, my four-year old can no longer sneakily add in unwanted chocolates or snacks into my shopping basket without my knowledge and have a fight with me at the cashier.
Let’s be honest here, who doesn’t like a bargain? So the bargain hunter in me lights up when I noticed the On Sale section.
Here’s where you can find all the marked down items in addition to RedMart’s everyday low prices. And that’s not all, you get to enjoy free delivery with a minimum spend of S$75, not hard to meet at all, especially if you’re ordering your grocery supplies for a week or two.
When I’m done with my shopping, I proceeded to check out and am promoted to provide my contact details and address for delivery.
Next I selected my delivery date and time. If you place your orders before 10am, RedMart does same day delivery. What’s more, they understand that their customers don’t like waiting at home for delivery and delivers within a narrow 2 hour time frame from 10am to 10pm.
Payment for your purchases can be convenient done via credit/debit card, PayPal online, cheque or credit card upon delivery.
Finally, I made a review of my orders and once I was happy, my order was confirmed and sent to RedMart.
Here’s another Juggling Mom time saving tip: RedMart helps you keep track of all your past items bought, so each time you make a purchase, the items you bought are automatically added to your list. Smart isn’t it?
And as promised my groceries were delivered promptly and I was thankful that I didn’t have to break my back with my purchases of household cleaning agents, rice, and bulky toilet rolls.
So why shop for your groceries at RedMart?
- Saves time
- Saves backaches
- Saves money
Sounds like a score to me!
