Motivational Monday- Ready, Get Set, Climb!

I’ve finally registered for my 2nd race this year. It’s none other than the Swissotel Vertical Marathon that I’ve been talking about since the start of the year. Alexis was really supportive and signed up for it together with me because taking an interest in what I’m interest in is his way of expressing his love. Plus we get to train and get fit together. What’s there to complain about?

Lately I’ve been slacking off my exercise so the vertical marathon in about 2 months time will be a good kick in the butt reminder that I need to keep up with my exercise. Hopefully with Alexis as my exercise buddy, he’ll keep me accountable and make sure that I don’t give myself excuses.

I’m especially encouraged after Adora shared how she found time to exercise with her hubby when the kids are asleep last week. Which goes to prove that time is what you make of it. And if your health is important, you’ll make time to keep fit by exercising.

If you’re keen to join us for the Vertical Marathon, registration is still open. In the weeks leading to the Vertical Marathon, I’ll hope to share my journey of how I have been training for a vertical marathon.

I’m so guilty of not exercising as often as I should! I guess using this event as a driving factor to get into exercising regularly is a good way to get motivated ^_^

Yes having something to train for is a good way to whip myself into shape as I tell myself that I don’t want to be LAST!

Sounds really good. I’ve been slacking and hoping to start off with a few zumba sessions before attempting more challenging ones like yours πŸ™‚

Zumba classes sounds like lots of fun. But certainly not something that my hubby will join me in.

I too need to step up with exercising. Have been rather slack lately.

Jia you Dominique. Can try climbing stairs since it doesn’t require anything special, just comfy shoes and you’re good to go!

You go girl! Maybe one day I’ll do a vertical marathon. For now, it’s baby steps for me since I’m just starting to get excited about exercising πŸ™‚

So cool that your husband wants to do it with you. My fitness level is way different from my husband and so we don’t exercise together. Too scary… haha!
