Elephant Parade -We’re breaking a record!

I was excited to receive a media invite to the Elephant’s Parade Record Breaking Event which will be held at VivoCity tomorrow, on 19 November 2011.

I blogged about this last week and over the weekend we went scouting for them along Orchard Road.

But alas, I’m away in Korea this weekend. But there’s no reason why you cant join in the fun and help towards a worthy cause.

In conjunction with Elephant Parade 2011, VivoCity is set to break the record for the Largest Display of Hand-Painted Elephants in the Singapore Book of Records. Participants will get to paint their own mini elephant sculptures and bring it home after the event. Shoppers can sign up for the event at our Customer Service Counter on Level 2 from now till 19 Nov 2011. Registration fee is $10 per participant (includes a 10cm tall elephant sculpture, painting kit and a goodie bag of vouchers and freebies). All proceeds will be donated to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.

In addition, there are other activities in conjunction with the Elephant Parade as you soak in the Christmas festive celebration in Vivocity.
