I’m so looking forward to my Korean trip. But I can’t say the same for my little girl.
When I told Sophie that mummy and daddy were going for a holiday. She looked at me despondently and said, ” You forgot Sophie!”
But she was even more dismayed when I replied, “Mummy didn’t forget Sophie. You can stay in Nai Nai’s place.” At this point, she was so upset, she bawled and made me feel so guilty for leaving her out of our holiday plans.
But honestly we have considered bring her along, but Korea in November is way too cold for her. Plus this trip could be a baby making holiday (if we don’t surrender to the cold and hide under the blankets every night!) Besides she did really well the last time we went to Bangkok without her. Not once did she cry and ask for mama or daddy. Truth be told, I was even quite hurt when she didn’t want to Skype with us on the 2nd night!

We did promise her that we’ll have a family get away before the end of the year. And yes, I’ll certainly not forget about Sophie this time.
