A Magical Disneyland Holiday

In 2007, we visited Japan and went to Tokyo Disneyland. True as they say, it was indeed the most magical place on earth and I felt like a kid all over again. Everywhere you turn, you see the familiar Disney characters bringing back childhood memories of your well loved cartoon characters. It’s almost impossible not to be happy and want to skip in Disneyland. The theme park is bound to lift anyone’s spirit as you see the locals especially the Japanese girls all so ecstatic to see their favourite Disney characters and would squeal in delight, giggling like little school girls as they dress up in Disney accessories from head to toe.

In 2008, we went to LA and went back to California Disnleyland because it’s such a familiar happy place for us.ย Plus the theme park was decked out in orange and pumpkins as it was Halloween season, making it a real treat for us since it’s not so commonly celebrated in Singapore. Needless to say, it was a day filled with much fun and excitement as we sat on the exhilarating rides and I screamed my head off.

But the best part of it all was the spectacular parade and the stunning fireworks display-the perfect way to end the visit on a high note.

For our upcoming holiday in September, we’re planning another visit to Disneyland. And this time, we’ll be going with Sophie, which will be so much fun and a promising magical experience for a four-year old. She’s looking forward to meeting her favorite princess, Princess Ariel and the rest of the Disney gang.

Wanna make a guess where we’ll be going? If you do have any recommendations on where to go, visit, eat or shop, do drop me a note too and I’ll be so grateful.

Disneyland, here we come!

Hi Michelle, I’m heading to Hong Kong Disneyland. The one in Tokyo was really magical and it still is my top favorite to date. If your child can take the flight to Japan, I’ll recommend that. Else you can go to HK, it’s just a four hour flight.

Yes, it’s HK Disneyland ๐Ÿ™‚ I read your entry on it. How can you not like Disneyland? Haha, then again I’m a adult who refuses to grow up so bringing Sophie there is my perfect disguise to go a little crazy there.

I guessed it was HK! It’s a good Disney to start for the little ones. Too bad Noey was too young when we first brought him. Time to plan anor trip maybe ๐Ÿ™‚ Have fun! I’ve been to Anaheim and Florida and the Disney magic is truly magical!

I’m sure Noey and Naomi will enjoy Disneyland in either HK or Japan. The good thing is it’s just a 4 hour flight to HK, which is more manageable compared to flying to the US.
      I’m SO… looking forward ๐Ÿ™‚
