Rejoice, a new indoor playground has opened in town!
Polliwogs has opened its third branch in VivoCity. Located on the third floor, this new indoor playground is just besides Modestos and across Marche on the rooftop. We were invited to check our the playground some weeks ago and Sophie invited her friends C and E where they had a ball of a time.
What I loved about the place was that it’s way more accessible than their other two branches in East Coast ad Roberston Walk especially if you don’t drive. Here you can easily get to the mall by train, bus or car.
And like most playgrounds, they’ve have two areas, one for little tots and one for older kids but Sophie loved them both.
Once we entered, the kids rushed to the little toddler area to check out the rides.

And once they entered into the older kids zone, they went wild and ran in different directions.
This is the infamous rock climbing wall that I saw so many parents posting photos on. I was surprised that Sophie has so much upper body strength to scale this wall. And yes, if you’re not worried of stares, parents can also attempt to climb the wall.
Up she goes my little champion
Later the kids got together and started shooting balls as a team from the upper level. I think it’s a very natural thing that boys want to take control of the shooting and these two little girls were tasked to get the bullets. Now that’s some team effort together. Way to go.
It’s all about teamwork!
Speaking of upper body strength, Sophie once again displayed that with this rope swing.
And when she couldn’t lower herself after getting across, I laughed at her expression. Naughty mummy, whoops 😛
And of course, no child can resist the wave slide. In fact, they experimented with different ways of sliding down including backwards and head first. Thankfully, they landed into a ball pit at the bottom of the slide to cushion their fall.
How I used to enjoy ball pits too!
A word of caution should you kids play in this elastic band area. Sophie was trying to make her way to the opposite side when she lost her grip and fell through the strips of bands onto the safety net at the bottom. Luckily for her, she was almost at the bottom and didn’t hurt herself. But if she were to fall from any higher ground, she may get injured.
In any case, do keep an eye on the kiddos because they are always so caught up with playing that they turn a deaf ear to all out warnings.
There are two party rooms available for parties or other functions and they also have party packages which you can check out from their website. And like both other branches, there is also a cafe area where you can order drinks and small snacks. But be prepared to pay expensive prices.
I think the kids and adults both had a good work out climbing up and down that afternoon. This is good for kids aged 6 and below. But for slightly older kids, the play area may be a little small and not as exciting for them. But overall, the kids enjoyed themselves and asked to come back again 🙂
Do remember that socks are compulsory if you’re going.
