It’s the first day of June and a Sunday. Though I was very very tempted to laze in bed, I kicked myself outta bed to go for a much needed run. It’s been too long since I last exercised and the half way mark in a year was a good reminder to make the most of everyday.
It started to drizzled once I stepped foot out of my block but I pressed on, undeterred by the dark clouds and rain drop falling on my head. Shortly, I was greeted by this beautiful pastel coloured rainbow in the sky. It was such a pretty sight that I even pointed to out to a man who was fishing at the canal. He might have thought it was no big deal but it’s been a while since I last saw a rainbow and quickly stopped in my tracks to take a photo of it.
And that’s how we can all look for one thing to be joyful in a day. June, I hope you’ll be good. I snapped this to take part in Fat Mum Slim Photo a Day challenge on Instagram. This is the photo prompt and hope you’ll have fun with it too.
June’s a special month for me because it’s when I’ll be celebrating my wedding anniversary too. Though it’s going to be a month of drought in terms of public holidays, I sure hope it’ll still be good π
