If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I enjoy my coffee from the pictures that I post. I usually order a latte or cappuccino and look forward to having some coffee art because I’m just such a sucker for pretty things.
A colleague of mine mentioned the she had the loveliest coffee art from a cafe called Chock full of beans in the East. What they draw is not just your usual heart or leaf, but cartoon characters like teddy bears, angry bird, Elmo and Hello Kitty!
So last month, Alexis and I headed to Changi Village for our couple date over brunch at this quaint little cafe that was hidden at the ground level of a HDB flat. The cafe is pretty small with limited seating available but they do have some outdoor seats if you like to go alfresco.
We ordered their breakfast and coffee and waited expectantly for our latte.
And look what arrived!
Such cuteness!!!
But when I saw what Alexis had, I was so jealous…
Hello Kitty!
Their breakfast is pretty good stuff too. I had the eggs benedict and what I liked about it was that there wasn’t hint of vinegar smell and taste.
So if you’re looking for some respite from the bustle of the city for a nice cuppa coffee, why not check out Chock Full of Beans?

So cute! I like the bear then the HK heheh~ Now i must start going to coffee joints to order coffee with art.
Order drinks where they have foam, like latte or flat white to get your coffee art 🙂
Love little cafes like these in the east, this one is pretty near. Another place to try, thanks for sharing Susan 🙂
