Thanks to my sister who lugged back these 5 packets of Wilton candy melts all the way from the US.
There were out of stock at Phoon Huat when I was at the height of my cake pop fever. But if I had been more patient, they are now available at Phoon Huat and are retailing at $5.30 a packet.
I’m hoping to find sometimes to bake some cake pops again. I thinking of a Halloween edition or maybe Angry Birds.
As moms, we often neglect time for our own hobbies and interests. Even though caring for our families, plus work and the dreaded housework can leave us with no time for ourselves, do remember to find “Me” time. I’m finding mine in baking.

Hi…
I bought the similar candy melt from Phoon Huat and tried to do the cake pop coating. I microwave the candy melt for about 2 min ( it starts to turn brown) but I am not able to melt the candy melt until it is in liquid form ( similar to fondue chocolate form). In the end, i am not able to coat the cake pop evenly. Do you know the reason why?
Thanks for your advice in advance. Thank you!

Hi Agnes, hmm how about finding from other baking speciality shops like http://www.b-i-y.com/ or Sun Lik at Seah Street?
Yes, it possible to melt the candy melts over the stove. Just make sure you have a low flame π Wish you success in making your cake pops π
