If there’s one thing that I’m enjoying about Sophie now, is how she can hold a decent conversation with me. I get so tickled by some of the funny things she says.
Mummy: “Sophie do you want to share your biscuit with Daddy?”
Sophie: “I hungry.”
And she throws in a whine just to make sure that you get her message loud and clear that she ain’t sharing her biscuit with Daddy.
When she wants my attention, she shouts “Mummy Tay!”. She assumes that is my full name. Which is pretty cute,. don’t you think?
Speaking of which, this little toddler has picked up the art of negotiation which she tries on her parents just before bed time.
Sophie: “I play Dora?”
Me: “No, Sophie it’s time for bed.”
Sophie: “Short short while.”
And after playing for a short short while, she will make a big deal that she’s packing away her toys.
Sophie: “See I pack Dora.”
And after that, she pulls out her flash cards and tell me, “short short while” again.
Thankfully, she’s not driven me to a point of exasperation. There are days that I even smile at some of her responses. So perhaps, that’s really her trump card after all.

Haha… Glad she really loves Dora
Sandra: Yipe, she’s getting more tactical I must say.
Tse wei: Yes she enjoys it a lot. Now she even ask us to play Dora on YouTube for her to watch. She also has a new love for my monkey soft toy and brings it around with her. I suspect it’s coz she wants to be Dora herself. Haha.
She’s probably trying to distract you from your original intent. That’s what Baby G does too… Heh heh.
She keeps her own toys! Well done.
Claire: She knows that she has to put her toys away after playing with them. But at her grand parents place, she turns into a brat and orders her grandpa to pack them for her. She’s turning into a bully, my girl.
