Rest in progress

Thanks for dropping by. Sorry I missed you as I’m away on holiday with the family in Hong Kong this week.

Initially I thought I’ll work on a travel journal to bring along with me to jot down my memories in Hong Kong. I also thought of completing my Taiwan travel posts before I go for my next holiday. I also toyed with the idea of making my own travel activity it for Sophie since we’ll be taking a budget flight.

But I did none of the above as I figured a rest is really what I need on this trip, especially since I’m nursing a sore throat which I hope will not get in my way of enjoying roast meat and dim sum. Plus, we are so blessed that we missed the super typhoon usagi that passed Hong Kong a few days before this trip.

I’m looking forward to spend lots of quality and quantity time with the two most important people in my life. And what’s really meaningful is going back to the Peak where Alexis proposed and where I said yes too πŸ™‚

In your busyness, don’t forget to make time for the family. Sometimes, quality time alone is not enough and what our family needs is more of our time to connect, laugh and grow together.

We got back from Hong Kong on Monday and had a great time. The theme parks, Disneyland and Ocean Park were so much fun and the food was fabulous! πŸ™‚
