Easter Craft with Washi Tape and a Giveaway

For the past two years, we dabbled with some simple Easter crafts. Last year, we made an Easter egg collage which Sophie could do by pasting pieces of colored paper. The year before, we made Easter bunnies out of toilet rolls that really delighted her.

This year, I decided to look for a Easter craft that I can make with my washi tape. After some quick research on Pinterest and gathering of materials, we quickly got down to making our Easter Egg craft.

Materials needed

  • Cardboard paper
  • Washi tape
  • Ribbons
  • Scissors

  1. Gather materials as listed above
  2. Draw oval eggs (I cheated and used the base of Sophie’s baby powder bottle)
  3. Stick on washi tape
  4. Trim and attach ribbons

Easy peasyΒ that even Sophie could do it unassisted. Okay, maybe besides the cutting, she did most of this bookmark on her own.

And here’s some good news. I’m celebrating the month of April with giveaways simply because it’s my birthday month and I hope to make it awesome for you too πŸ™‚ Β And this week, I’m giving away washi tapes.

Β

Technically these are not exactly washi tape, but I’m sure I can get away with this tape that screams cuteness! I can so see them on party packs, a notebook that needs a pick me up or just a note with your kids lunch box.

As you can see, I have already started on mine πŸ™‚ I can foresee that your kids will have much fun with it too.

Giveway ends next week. Good luck!

Hi, Chuyan here. My kids could use this to make cards for their daddy’s birthday or for their friends. They could also decorate their toy and stationary boxes with the tape πŸ™‚

Lisa, lisacng (at) expandng (dot) com. I’d use them for a baby album but I also love your idea of taping it to paper and cutting out shapes. J would LOVE to help!
